  • What is Perfocal?

    Perfocal is the easiest way to book a quality photographer, the "Uber for hiring photographers".

    Working with hundreds of hand-picked freelance photographers, on-demand in London, Perfocal can always find you an awesome photographer who is available for your day, even for short notice bookings. Our hassle-free booking process takes less than 60 seconds, and you will only pay when you're happy with the selected photographer.

  • Are these photographers vetted?

    Yes, we vet and verify all photographers before allowing them onto the platform. We have a strict vetting progress and manually review all the photographers' sample works and equipments, to ensure all the photographers are professional, reliable, and creative.

  • How do payments work on Perfocal?

    Payment to your photographer is made through Perfocal's website and processed securely by Stripe, which is a major online payments provider which processes billions of dollars every year. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

    When placing a new booking request, you won't be charged anything until an available photographer is matched and accepts the job. You will then be asked to proceed with the payment to confirm your booking with the photographer. Perfocal will release the payment to the photographer when the photography job is completed and you have received all the photos and satisfied.

  • How do I view my photographer's profile?

    Once a photographer accepts your booking request, you'll be able to view his/her profile and sample works so you can decide whether he/she is the right person for your booking. You can find the photographer's profile link within the email notification or on your booking page (get access from here: perfocal.com/customer).

  • When can I contact my photographer?

    Once your booking is confirmed (paid), you will receive the contact details of your photographer. Also your photographer will usually contact you shortly after the booking is confirmed, to discuss about your requirements in detail.

  • How do I amend or cancel my booking?

    If you haven't paid and want to cancel your booking, please simply fill in this form.

    If you have already paid or you need to amend your booking details, please email us at [email protected], we will proceed your request as soon as possible.

  • Can I hire more than one photograher at one time?

    Of course!

    Please make multiple booking requests to hire more than one photographer for the same event. For example, if you need two photographers, please create two booking requests. Currently you cannot request two photographers with the same booking request.

  • Does my photographer work for Perfocal?

    Photographers on Perfocal are independent contractors who work for themselves. Perfocal provides an online venue for both clients and photographers, and help them save both money and time.

    We vet and verify all photographers before allowing them onto the platform to ensure they are reliable individuals, have necessary professional photography equipments, and really good at what they are offering.

  • How do I contact Perfocal?

    You may chat or leave messages to us using the live chat feature on our website anytime. You can also email us at [email protected] or on our contact page. Normally we will reply you within 1 working day.
